About ToolHub Daily

ToolHub Daily is an independent publication about the software people actually use: new AI tools, free and open-source apps, useful GitHub projects, automation workflows and SaaS products for small teams. Each article explains what a tool does, who it is for, what it costs when that is published, and how to get started.

What we cover

  • AI Tools: new and updated AI apps, chatbots and assistants.
  • Free Software: free and open-source apps, and no-cost alternatives to paid software.
  • GitHub Gems: libraries, command-line tools and self-hostable projects worth a look.
  • AI Automation: AI agents, n8n and Make workflows, and tools for automating real work.
  • SaaS & Productivity: launches, genuine deals and productivity apps.

Every week we also publish a short roundup of the most useful tools in each of these sections.

How we work

We follow developer communities, product launch sites, GitHub and the official announcements of the projects we write about. When something is worth a closer look, we go to the primary source: the project page, repository, documentation or release notes. Every article links to that source so you can check the details yourself.

We use AI software to help draft and update articles. Drafts are checked automatically against their source before they can be published, and drafts that fail those checks are held back for an editor instead. When a tool changes, we update the existing article and add a dated note saying what changed. The full process is described in our editorial policy.
